Walkie Talkie is the new IT communication trend

Samsung electronics and Microsoft are bringing back the era of walkie talkie for the workers who works their whole day and night navigating hospitals, supermarkets and airplane cabins.

On Sunday Samsung introduced Galaxy XCover Pro smartphone, which has a push-to-talk button that initiates a chat using Microsoft's teams app. It wil be available to a limited set of android customer in the first half of the year.

By introducing this feature company is trying to give people a more secure tool to connect with co-workers than many of the consumer apps (social media)that are used in the workplace. Rather than to load a personal phone, a work phone a walkie-talkie and a pager on his belt individually, this feature cuts down on the number of devices people have to carry.
